What if coffee did not end when the cup was empty?

Every day, our local cafés make hundreds of cups and leave behind something that would usually be thrown away: spent coffee grounds. At Wild Secrets, that is not where the story ends. It is where another one begins. Our circular-economy project connects Wild Secrets with cafés in our community so we can recover used coffee and turn it into something new, useful and very Wild.

Sometimes it comes back as a scrub. Sometimes it becomes part of a botanical infusion. Sometimes it even makes its way into Fur Baby bath time. Sometimes it literally fizzes in the tub as Coffee Truffles. And sometimes it meets mushrooms, butters and oils in a rich skin cream. Smooth Criminal, Tigress, Fur Baby, Coffee + Funghi Elixir and Coffee Truffles show that one ingredient can have more than one life—and plenty of personality in each one.

More than recycling coffee: building a local loop

For our cafés: something that once looked like everyday waste finds a new use and becomes part of a local collaboration with a story.

For Wild Secrets: it lets us create formulas connected to where we live and turn circular economy into something you can actually touch, use and take home.

For our community: it connects small businesses, starts conversations and shows that innovation does not always begin with something new; sometimes it begins by looking differently at what we already have.

And for every Wild Lover: it is an invitation to look at everyday things differently. Reusing, separating, repairing, sharing or choosing products that make use of existing resources may feel small, but together they help move us from “use and throw away” toward “use, imagine and create again.”

The cup may be finished. The coffee story does not have to be.
